Monday, December 11, 2017, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Roy Moore held a “Drain the Swamp rally” in Midland just 13 hours before Alabama voters go to the polls to decide whether they want to vote for Moore or Democrat Doug Jones to be their senator, replacing Jeff Sessions (R) who vacated the seat to become U.S. attorney general.

“We are not going to stand by and let people from out of state and California control this election,” Judge Roy Moore said. “Three years before I was born, 1944, America was in crisis. We were at war with Adolph Hitler and the armies of Nazi Germany.” President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said on the radio that many would die in that war; but we had faith. Three years later I was born. “In the 1960s, we started to forget God and we started to forget where our strength comes from.”

Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon to campaign for Moore next week

Breitbart executive chairman and former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, long considered one of President Donald Trump’s key allies, will return to Fairhope, Alabama, next week to campaign for Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore. It’ll be Bannon’s second visit to the state to stump for Moore.

Bannon, since leaving the White House in August, has been mounting a nationwide effort to elect more populists and nationalists. Moore has become one of Bannon’s first projects. In September, Bannon traveled to Fairhope to campaign for Moore during the primary election. Bannon supported Moore over the establishment-embraced Sen. Luther Strange. Bannon’s right-leaning Breitbart news has been staunch in their alignment with Moore.

Dear America: An apology for Roy Moore, and all the rest

November 13, 2017

By Josh Moon

Dear America,

We’re sorry.

I’m speaking for all of us here in Alabama, even if some of these people will never apologize and never believe that they’ve done anything wrong.

The rest of us know better, though.

We know what we’ve done to all of America over the past year, when the Alabamization of this country began. You weren’t ready for it, and I told you last November that no amount of lowering expectations could possibly prepare you for the river of lunacy that was rushing towards you.

On Monday night, the Roy Moore for U.S. Senate campaign will be hosting a Faith and Family rally with Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and a surprise special guest.

Steve Bannon is the executive chairman of Breitbart News, and until recently, he was President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist. Bannon, who has only done one interview since leaving the White House, according to some sources, will do a live interview with Fox News star host Sean Hannity during the event. Hannity, like a growing number of conservative-thought leaders, is headed to Alabama Monday night to campaign for Moore in a fierce runoff election.
