There is no mob chasing Roy Moore

It’s the gays.

That’s who’s causing all this trouble for poor ol’ Roy Moore. Making up all of these dadgum phony allegations against him.

Or maybe it’s the “transgender mafia,” as one Moore surrogate proclaimed out loud and with a straight face recently.

Or it could be the mainstream media.

I bet that’s it. The media. Those guys will say just about anything … that’s supported by facts and accurate reporting.

Bill to take State out of Marriage License Business passes Senate

March 8, 2017

By Brandon Moseley
Alabama Political Reporter

Tuesday, March 6, 2017, the Alabama Senate passed SB20, sponsored by Senator Greg Albritton (R-Bay Minette) that would end marriage licensing in Alabama.

Sen. Albritton said previously, “This bill does not denigrate marriage. This bill does not de-sanctify marriage. This bill does not change the definition of marriage. All my bill does is to change the procedure for individuals to obtain a marriage.”

Albritton said that currently you go to the Probate Judges office to get a marriage license from the State of Alabama, this bill just removes the licensure part out of the process. This bill does not de-sanctify marriage, because the State can not sanctify marriage. Albritton’s bill would make it where you simply fill out a form with the signatures of the two people being married, the person performing the procedure, and two witnesses.

Trump Montgomery Co-Chair Perry Hooper Says Trump Will Wipe Out ISIS

June 15, 2016

By Brandon Moseley
Alabama Political Reporter

Monday, June 13, Trump’s Montgomery River Region Co-Chair, former State Representative Perry O Hooper Jr. (R) said that the attack on the Pulse nightclub was an attack on us all, no less than the World Trade Center attack.

Co-Chair Hooper said, “My heart goes out to families of the victims and my prayers are with the survivors of this Radical Islamic attack. The attack on the Pulse nightclub was an attack on us all, no less than the World Trade Center attack. If this is not a wakeup call, I don’t know what is. Unfortunately, the news cycle is sadly predictable. The Media and Hillary Clinton and her fellow Islamic Sympathizing Democrats lead by her mentor Barak Obama are already using this horrific event to attack the second amendment and the right of law abiding American Citizens to bear arms. They are calling for unconstitutional bans on selected guns. They will continue to refuse to admit that we are at war with radical Islamic terrorist both outside and within our borders. Lead by the leftist national media they will do their best to change to the debate to such trivial matters as how many dissatisfied students attended Trump University. From Day One of his campaign Donald Trump has hammered home national security and the war on ISIS as his number one priority. Wiping out ISIS is his goal not making deals with radical Islamic regimes such as Iran. This was an act of war. Who do want leading the response “Crooked Hillary” or Donald J. Trump.”

Friday, May 13, US Representatives Martha Roby (R-Montgomery), Bradley Byrne (R-Montrose), Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) and Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange (R), all issued statements blasting the Obama Administration for its threat that public schools who do not comply with the President’s pro-transgender agenda will lose federal funding.

Congresswoman Martha Roby said, “They have lost their minds. This is a great example of an issue in which we need a lot less government and a lot more common sense. These are children. Eighth grade boys don’t need government-guaranteed access to the sixth grade girls’ bathroom, or vice versa.”

Trump is a bigot. If you support him, own it.

March 2, 2016

By Joey Kennedy

I’m getting some crap on Facebook because I made the following post:

“Anybody who puts a Trump sign in their yard is saying: “I’m a bigot.” That’s what they’re saying. They’re welcome to do that, but they must understand that if they have a Trump sign in their yard, they’re bigots. Live with it.”

OK. I knew that post would bring on a storm. People don’t like to think of themselves as bigots. But that doesn’t make it false.

Human Rights Campaign Endorses Hillary Clinton

January 21, 2016

By Brandon Moseley
Alabama Political Reporter

On Tuesday, January 19, former Secretary of State and Democratic Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton, released a statement thanking the Human Rights Campaign for their endorsement in the 2016 Presidential Campaign.

Secretary Clinton said, “I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign—the nation’s largest organization working to achieve full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans. Thanks to the Human Rights Campaign and millions of advocates across the country, we’ve made tremendous progress. But our work is far from over. Too many LGBT Americans still face discrimination—in employment, in housing, in education, in health care—because of who they are or who they love. And the stakes in this election couldn’t be higher. The Republican candidates for president have not only hurled hateful, insulting rhetoric about the LGBT community—they’ve made it clear that if elected, they will roll back the rights that so many have fought for.”
