Conservatives Rally Against Data Collection Bills

The legislature has returned for another session and some GOP legislators are once again pushing a longitudinal data collection scheme. Once again the primary opponents of this grand scheme are fellow Republicans. On Thursday, February 23 Alabama Eagle Forum led a conservative rally in opposition to the longitudinal data bills, House Bill 97 and Senate Bill 153.

Tea Party groups welcome back Legislature

Tuesday, February 8, the 2017 Alabama Legislative Session has begun, and Tea Party leaders from across the State were on hand to greet them and press legislators on a variety of conservative issues.

Dr. Lou Campomenosi with the Common Sense Campaign of Alabama urged all groups to oppose Alabama Governor Robert Bentley’s $800 million prison plan, “Make sure all State Tea Party groups are working in tandem on this.”

Democrats Head to Convention Under Email Scandal Cloud

On Sunday, July 24, Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, announced that she would resign after the Democratic National Convention after emails were leaked by the website WikiLeaks showing that she as well as top officials at the DNC were conspiring with the Hillary Clinton Campaign throughout the primary season. The DNC had already announced that they had cancelled her primetime speaking role at the convention.
