The Trump-Russia scandal: Don’t be a fool

October 31, 2017

By Josh Moon

There’s nothing to see here.

Pay no attention to the uproar at those mainstream media outlets over the indictments of Donald Trump’s campaign manager and a campaign advisor and the guilty plea of another Trump advisor.

There’s nothing to any of it – certainly not an indication that the stories of the Trump campaign colluding with foreign agents might be true. Noooo, it’s just those pesky Democrats working overtime to divert attention away from the REAL story – Hillary Clinton’s emails about uranium.

By Chip Brownlee
Alabama Political Reporter

It’s no secret anywhere former Chief Justice Roy Moore is no fan of same-sex marriage, but the leading Senate candidate on Thursday took it one step further, cozying up to Russian President Vladimir Putin after being questioned on the topic.

In an interview with The Guardian, a British newspaper, reporters asked Moore what he thought about his view on same-sex marriage being similar to Putin’s, who has cracked down on what he has said is “homosexual propaganda” in schools. Putin has also turned a blind eye in the Russian state of Chechnya as gay men have been tortured and even killed.

Rebuilding, reforming, and repairing our military

July 18, 2017

By Congressman Bradley Byrne (AL-1)

There is no greater responsibility of the Federal government than to provide for the safety and security of the American people. I have found myself making this point over and over again throughout my short time in Congress.

With the wide range of issues under debate here in Washington, some of my colleagues seem to forget that our most basic responsibility as outlined in the Constitution is to “provide for the common defense” of the American people.

Randy Brinson Interview

June 22, 2017

By Brandon Moseley
Alabama Political Reporter

Tuesday, June 21, 2017, Dr. Randy Brinson talked with The Alabama Political Reporter (APR) about his campaign to be the GOP nominee for the US Senate seat vacated when Sen. Jeff Sessions became US Attorney General.

APR: Mo Brooks has introduced legislation allowing members of Congress to carry firearms in Washington DC. Do you support this legislation. Why or why not?

Dr. Brinson: A better policy would to have somebody on their staff APOST certified and fully trained and qualified as a marksman. While I support this, US attorneys and federal judges have asked for this for years. Prosecutors are going after terror groups, the mob, and the cartels. They are even more at risk than the Congressmen. This needs to be extended to the federal prosecutors and judges.
