Mowery Consulting/FIXR Digital Nominated for Seven Pollie Awards

MONTGOMERY—Mowery Consulting Group and its sister company, FIXR Digital, were nominated for eight “Pollie” Awards. Esquire magazine has dubbed the Pollies “…the Oscars of political advertising.” The Chairman of MCG/FIXR, David Mowery, is himself up for two Campaign Excellence Awards from the AAPC as well.

“We’re obviously proud of our work, and we always look forward to being judged against the best of our peers,” Mowery said. “There is a lot of talent in this industry, and to be considered among the best is a real honor.”

Their Pollie nominations include:

Overall Best Internet Campaign for a Candidate
Best Web Video for Mayoral Campaign
Best Internet Advertising for Mayoral Campaign
Best Use of Facebook for Mayoral Campaign
Best Use of Social Media for Mayoral Campaign
Best Automated Phone Call for Mayoral Campaign “The Last Call You’ll Ever Get From Me”
Best Billboard Campaign

In addition to these awards, David Mowery has been nominated for two Campaign Excellence Awards:

Digital Strategist of The Year
Local Campaign Manager of The Year

Mowery Consulting and FIXR Digital are also finalists for four Reed Awards for Campaign Excellence.

The Reed Awards will take place in Charleston, SC on February 18, and The Pollie Awards will take place in San Juan, PR on Thursday April 14.

“In the end, it is an honor just to be nominated for all of these,” Mowery said. “But it is an even bigger honor to work for great public officials like Mayor Strange, who put their trust and faith in me to get them elected and re-elected.
