Dr. K.A. Paul endorses Roy Moore

Alabama Political Reporter

Friday, December 8, 2017 K. A. Paul endorsed GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore on Friday.

Paul called upon all Republicans including Mitt Romney, John McCain, independents and blue dog democrats to vote for Moore.

“The events going on in the Alabama Senate race are watched by tens of millions in the world who are wondering if Americans will judge a man based on 40-year old allegations or send a message to the nation’s leaders that people are considered innocent until proven guilty in America,” Paul said.

Moore was accused of dating young women after he finished Law School in the 1970s and was a new Etowah County deputy district attorney and some claim that he acted inappropriately.  Moore denies the allegations, but his opponents have used the allegations to discredit Moore with the voters.

Paul said that all these “leaders” who are calling Roy to step down should be ashamed of themselves and remember the teachings of Jesus, “who among you without sin cast the first stone.” Paul hopes to send a strong message to Washington and the world that the people of Alabama are not easily fooled into judgment of anybody without due process.

Paul was originally named Anand Kilari and was born in 1963 in a small village in India into a Hindu family.

His parents converted to Christianity in 1966. Paul became a Christian in March 1971, when he was 8 years old. Paul traveled with his evangelist father to hundreds of villages in India sharing the gospel with many non-Christians. Paul became a full-time minister at the age of 19.

Paul has been active in state politics as a member of the Praja Shanti Party.

“The purpose of starting Prajashanti Party is to redeem people from slavery, promote equality among all people and all faiths and all castes and to establish true democracy,” the Praja Shanti party platform reads.

Paul has been called “the world’s most popular evangelist” by The New Republic and “the next Billy Graham” by The New York Times.

Dr. Paul is calling on former Alabama Democratic Party Chairman Joe Turnam, who is among the 12 former political leaders from Paul’s U.S. ministries serving as paid ambassadors, to campaign for Moore.

He also called on President Donald J. Trump to campaign in Alabama.

“Jesus said your yes means yes, so Trump must keep his promise too,” Paul said. “He and other Republicans should come out and repent openly before the media; otherwise their sins will be exposed. As Jesus said, ‘there is not one righteous no not one.’” Paul said, “Enough is enough, it is time to end this stupidity and elect Roy Moore. If he is proven guilty after elected, he will be punished under law.”

Paul said that he had been falsely accused of a crime and arrested by the police for political reasons, and has since been cleared by the same forces.  All his life he strongly stood with all women and believes anyone who physically or sexually abuses another, must be seriously punished. Yet, he believes in due process and asks, “what if Roy Moore is totally innocent?”

Paul previously endorsed both Trump and Barack Obama for president.

Moore faces Democrat Doug Jones in the special election on Tuesday.
