Staff Report

From the Office of Lt. Governor Kay Ivey

MONTGOMERY, Alabama (September 19, 2012) – Voters have overwhelmingly demonstrated their trust in Governor Bentley and the legislative leadership in their efforts to manage the state’s budget.  Tuesday’s election results confirm the trust I have in the Governor, the legislative leadership and members.  The legislature is committed to repaying the ATF while continuing efforts to streamline state government and implement solutions to address the increasing demands Medicaid and Corrections have on the General Fund Budget.
