BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –  Bill Armistead, Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, issued the following statement regarding the results for the race for the Second Congressional District of Alabama:

“Congressman Martha Roby has distinguished herself as a true leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. I am delighted that the voters in her district appreciate the fine representation their freshman Congressman has given them and I congratulate Martha on her victory!”
