Hear Tape of Moore Relaying Alleged Threats From Hubbard (Audio Tape)

By Bill Britt
Alabama Political Reporter

MONTGOMERY—Representative Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) has been recorded relaying threats he claims are on behalf of Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard.

The threats are directed at Josh Pipkin who is running for House District 91 against Moore who is Hubbard’s handpicked candidate.

In the tape Moore says that Hubbard has promised to rain “Holy Hell down on [Pipkin] him,” if he does not get out of the race. Moore also tells Pipkin that Hubbard is ready to kill jobs that are coming to Enterprise if Pipkin continues his challenge to Moore.

The jobs would come from a deal between the state and Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC).
