The Kay Ivey for Governor campaign yesterday announced an additional round of legislative endorsements.

Ivey thanked the legislators for their endorsements and for all that they do for their districts and the state.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsements of these great members of the Alabama legislature. They work tirelessly to represent their districts, and I appreciate their support. Together, we’re delivering results to hard-working Alabamians and are standing up for the Christian, conservative values that made our country great,” Ivey said. “We have created over 50,000 new jobs, over $25,000 in new business investment and have the lowest unemployment rate in the history of our state. For 16 consecutive months, we have had the lowest unemployment rate in the entire Southeast. That is something we should all be proud of.”

Ivey continued: “Despite the Biden Administration’s failures and the radical left, which seems to be getting crazier and crazier each and every day – we’re standing strong and defending our Alabama values. We’ve put into law the strongest pro-life bill in the nation, banned transgender sports, made it illegal for doctors to give minors puberty blockers and hormones for transgender treatments and we have stopped Biden’s vaccine mandates dead in their tracks.”

Ivey concluded: “While I’m proud of our long list of conservative accomplishments – there is still more to be done and more battles against the radical left that will need to be fought. We won’t back down and we will meet these challenges head on, because to keep Alabama thriving, it will take all of us, working together, and trusting in the Lord as we lay the groundwork for a brighter future for our state.”

Today’s endorsement includes Senators Garlan Gudger, R-Cullman, Steve Livingston, R-Scottsboro, Andrew Jones, R-Centre, and Arthur Orr, R- Decatur, as well as Representatives Scott Stadthagen, R-Hartselle, Randall Shedd, R-Cullman, Kerry Rich, R-Albertville, Wes Kitchens, R-Arab, and David Standridge, R-Hayden.

Ivey Campaign Manager William Califf thanked these legislators for their endorsements.

“I appreciate these Republican legislators and their support for Governor Ivey. With the lowest unemployment rate in state history, one of the best business climates in the entire nation and significant infrastructure developments to support our booming economy, Kay Ivey is proving the Alabama drive is relentless,” said Califf.  Unlike Biden and blue-state liberals, Governor Ivey and the Republican legislature understand what it takes to uphold the America-first policies that make Alabama an economic and industrial leader that stands for strong, conservative values.”
