Rep. Sewell to host Town Hall in Fort Deposit

Sewell will be joined by Lowndes County Schools Superintendent Samita Jeter and other local leaders.

On Wednesday, April 23 at 1 p.m. CDT, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell, AL-07, will continue her annual Congress in Your Community tour, hosting a Community Conversation in Fort Deposit, Alabama.

Rep. Sewell will be joined by Lowndes County Schools Superintendent Samita Jeter, Health Services Inc. CEO Gilbert F. Darrington, Heart of Alabama Food Bank CEO Michael Coleman, and representatives from the South Central Alabama Development Commission to discuss the impacts of the Trump administration’s proposed cuts to education, healthcare, food assistance and other vital federal services.
