Rep. Sewell to host “Hands Off Our Benefits” episode of Terri Talks

During Democrats’ Save Social Security Day of Action, Sewell plans to sound the alarm on attacks on Social Security and the need to protect benefits.

On Thursday, August 14 at 3 p.m. CDT, during House Democrats’ Save Social Security Day of Action, U.S. Representative Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, will air a new episode of Terri Talks entitled “Hands Off Our Benefits.”

Sewell will be joined by Representative John Larson, D-Connecticut, ranking member of the Social Security Subcommittee, to “sound the alarm on the Trump administration’s attacks on Social Security and underscore the need to protect and enhance benefits for all seniors. Thursday marks 90 years since President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act into law,” Sewell’s release said.
