Katherine Robertson, candidate for Alabama attorney general, announced Monday the endorsement of her campaign by the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama, P&CMA. “This significant endorsement underscores Robertson’s commitment to supporting Alabama’s business community and promoting economic growth across the state,” Robertson’s release said.
Rex Jones, chairman of the Board of Directors for P&CMA cited Robertson’s strong record of advocating for policies that foster a business-friendly environment, protecting small businesses in Alabama, and uphold the rule of law as key reasons for their support. “Having known Katherine nearly her whole life, I know she understands the challenges faced by our industry and has demonstrated a clear commitment to fostering economic opportunity while ensuring fairness and accountability,” Jones stated. “We are confident that as Attorney General, she will be a steadfast advocate for Alabama’s businesses and consumers.”
Robertson expressed her appreciation for the endorsement, stating, “I am deeply honored to receive the support of the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama. After years of dealing with the Biden administration’s green-new-scam, rising gas prices, and billions in wasted tax dollars, thankfully President Trump is bringing back America’s energy independence. As Attorney General, I will work hand in hand with the Trump administration and members of the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama to protect our state’s energy sector, our economic interests and ensure Alabama remains free of disastrous Democrat-led energy policies.”
With a track record as a prosecutor and conservative legal advocate, Robertson “is running on a platform of supporting the MAGA agenda, combating crime, and defending Alabamians from the left’s reckless agenda,” her release shared.
