U.S. House candidate Jerry Carl, R-Alabama, recently announced endorsements from the Alabama Peanut Producers Association and the Home Builders Association of Alabama in his campaign to represent Alabama’s 1st Congressional District.
“The Alabama Peanut Producers Association is proud to endorse Jerry Carl for Alabama’s First Congressional District,” APPA Vice President Mark Kaiser said. “Jerry deeply understands the challenges facing Alabama’s farmers and has consistently fought for policies that protect our agricultural industry, support family farms and ensure our producers can continue feeding America. We know Jerry will be a steady voice for agriculture in Congress.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Alabama Peanut Producers Association,” Carl said. “Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of building relationships with farmers across our state, including many of our peanut producers. I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, sacrifice and hard work it takes to keep these farms running. Protecting their livelihoods isn’t just good policy—it’s personal. I’ll continue fighting to reduce costly regulations, strengthen our agricultural economy and ensure Alabama’s farmers have every opportunity to succeed for generations to come.”
Carl’s campaign said the HBAA endorsement recognizes his longstanding commitment to protecting homeownership, strengthening the economy and reducing government regulations.
“We are pleased to endorse Jerry Carl for Alabama Congressional District 1,” 2026 HBAA 1st Vice President Jim Mathews said. “Jerry has been a champion for affordable housing and a warrior against government overreach and unnecessary regulations. We know he will work hard to ensure that every Alabamian has the opportunity to realize the dream of homeownership.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Home Builders Association of Alabama,” Carl said. “Homeownership is at the heart of the American Dream, and families deserve a representative who will fight to lower costs, cut unnecessary regulations and create an environment where families can truly thrive. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Alabama’s home builders to expand opportunity in southwest Alabama and across our great state.”
Carl said his campaign is committed to expanding economic opportunity, protecting the American Dream of homeownership and advancing conservative policies that put Alabama families first.
The special primary election is set for August 11, 2026.
