Fairhope Mayor Sherry Sullivan said she is proud to congratulate local high school senior, Amelia Wells of Bayside Academy, for receiving a 2025 Energy Southeast Scholarship.
The scholarship, awarded by Fairhope Public Utilities’ energy provider, Energy Southeast, will provide Amelia with $2,500 to support her higher education endeavors in Alabama. This year, Energy Southeast is awarding $80,000 in scholarships to 32 students across the state.
“We are thrilled for Amelia and her achievements,” said Mayor Sherry Sullivan. “This scholarship will help her continue her education and contribute to her bright future. We are grateful to Energy Southeast for their continued support of our students and their commitment to fostering educational opportunities in our community.”
Since 1992, Energy Southeast and its Member cities have awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships to Alabama high school seniors, supporting their college and vocational education.
