Majority of Alabama House Republicans endorse Wes Allen

Allen garnered significant support from the Alabama House of Representatives, as a majority of Republicans publicly endorsed his lieutenant governor bid.

Wes Allen, Alabama’s current secretary of state and candidate for lieutenant governor, announced Tuesday that he has been endorsed by the majority of the Republican members of the Alabama House of Representatives. Allen, who served as a member of the Alabama legislature and as a probate judge prior to his election as secretary of state welcomed the support.

“I am grateful for the endorsement of so many conservative Republicans in the Alabama House of Representatives. Hailing from all over the state, many of these legislators have worked alongside me as we fought to protect Alabama’s conservative values. These are people who know me and my work ethic and my commitment to the State of Alabama. To have them support me publicly is greatly appreciated,” Allen said.
