Jay Mitchell reported another major in-state endorsement last Friday when the Alabama Trucking Association offered its full support to his campaign for attorney general.

TRUK PAC Chairman Greg Brown confirmed, saying, “Alabama’s trucking industry proudly supports Jay Mitchell in this race because he understands the challenges and opportunities facing the trucking industry and the broader small business community. His dedication to key issues like legal fairness, workforce development, and industry and workplace safety, combined with his thoughtful and pragmatic leadership, is why he has earned our full support.”

“Truckers keep our economy moving. As the next Attorney General, I’ll make sure they have what they need to keep driving Alabama forward. I’m honored to have the support of the Alabama Trucking Association,” said Mitchell.

The Mitchell campaign also said it is proud of its endorsements from the Business Council of Alabama as well as the Alabama Rural Electric Association. “The homegrown groups that have endorsed my campaign represent everyone from Alabama’s small towns and family businesses to the state’s largest employers. They trust my 23 years of experience and know that I’m the candidate who is best qualified to walk into any courtroom and represent them,” Mitchell explained.

He added, “I am ALABAMA’S Attorney General candidate. More than 94 percent of my support comes from everyday Alabamians. I don’t need to court out-of-state special interests because my campaign is and always will be powered by Alabama conservatives.”
