On February 24 at 8 a.m., the Alabama chapters of The Links, Incorporated will host their annual Links Day at the Capitol 2026, bringing together members from across the state for a day of civic engagement, policy dialogue and advocacy.
The event convened leaders from government, education and community organizations to discuss issues impacting Alabama’s communities.
Links Day at the Capitol convenes members from the nine Alabama chapters of The Links, Incorporated including Birmingham, Montgomery, Tuskegee, Greater Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Magic City, Selma, Greater Huntsville and Tri-County, for a day dedicated to legislative engagement and community advocacy.
The program includes leadership remarks, policy discussions, and visits to the Alabama State House and Senate.
Founded in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit organization comprised of more than 17,000 professional women of African descent committed to friendship and service. Through its five program facets that includes Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services, the organization said it works to enrich, sustain and ensure the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
