Alabama Republican Assembly endorses Case Dixon in CD6

Statewide grassroots conservatives backed political newcomer Case Dixon over incumbent Rep. Gary Palmer ahead of the Alabama 6th Congressional District primary.

Dixon For U.S. Congress

Case Dixon, a political newcomer challenging Representative Gary Palmer, R-Alabama, in Alabama’s 6th Congressional District, announced he has received the endorsement of the Alabama Republican Assembly, a statewide grassroots organization dedicated to advancing conservative values and strengthening Republican leadership across Alabama.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Alabama Republican Assembly,” Dixon said in a statement. “The ALRA represents the conscience of our party—grassroots conservatives who demand limited government, adherence to the Constitution and ethical leadership. Their endorsement sends a clear message that Alabama Republicans are ready for principled, accountable representation in Washington.”

“At a time when Washington is drowning in debt and too many politicians grow comfortable with the status quo, the Alabama Republican Assembly stands for courage and conviction,” Dixon said. “Washington won’t fix itself. It will take grit, conviction and a willingness to confront it head-on. With the ALRA beside me, I’m ready to stand on principle and fight for the people of Alabama’s Sixth District.”

The endorsement follows Dixon’s messaging on fiscal responsibility and ethics within the Republican Party. He has criticized Palmer and other Republican lawmakers for failing to address the national debt, establish congressional term limits or ban stock trading by members of Congress.

“Americans have had enough of endless spending, unchecked power and politicians who treat public office as a career rather than a public trust,” Dixon said after qualifying for the Republican primary in January. “It’s time for real reform. That means banning congressional stock trading, imposing term limits, shrinking the size and scope of the federal government and returning power to the people.”

In addition to advocating reduced government spending and ethics reforms, Dixon has said he supports increasing access to cannabis, cutting regulations in health care and simplifying the tax code by cutting rates and eliminating outdated limits on care-related deductions. He told APR in July that he supports a national ban on abortion without exceptions.

Dixon will seek to leverage the endorsement ahead of the May 19 Republican primary.
