The Andrew Sneed for Congress campaign announced Monday that Alabama Democratic Party Chair Senator Bobby Singleton will give remarks at the campaign’s upcoming “Hear Every Voice” town hall Wednesday, August 26, at the Turner Surles Community Resource Center in Decatur.
The event will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
U.S. Representative Dale Strong, R-Alabama, was invited to participate but declined, according to the campaign.
The first town hall was held in Scottsboro on August 17, where Sneed answered constituent questions and heard from voters about issues affecting them, their families and their communities.
The Decatur event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about issues affecting Alabama’s 5th Congressional District.
Former state Representative Mike Ball, a Republican, will moderate the event.
The Turner Surles Community Resource Center is located at 702 Sycamore St. NW in Decatur.
The “Hear Every Voice” town hall series will also include the following events:
- Wednesday, September 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at ASU McCandless in Athens, moderated by Chris Love.
- Tuesday, October 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bob Harrison Center in Huntsville, moderated by Kenny Anderson.
