Manufacture Alabama on Monday announced its endorsement of Katherine Robertson for Alabama attorney general in the 2026 General Election.
Robertson has spent nearly a decade serving as chief counsel to Attorney General Steve Marshall, assisting the Attorney General’s Office on issues affecting Alabama businesses, workers and communities.
“Katherine Robertson understands that a strong business climate depends on the rule of law, regulatory certainty and a willingness to stand up when federal policies threaten Alabama jobs and employers,” Manufacture Alabama President and CEO Jon Barganier said. “Manufacturers need an Attorney General who understands the challenges facing our industry and is prepared to defend Alabama’s interests. Katherine has demonstrated that throughout her career, and we are proud to endorse her for Attorney General.”
The organization said Robertson has helped lead Alabama’s efforts to challenge federal policies, defend the state’s constitutional authority and advocate for policies affecting Alabama businesses and families during her tenure in the Attorney General’s Office.
Manufacture Alabama also cited Robertson’s experience working with state leaders, law enforcement and the business community.
