Governor Ivey encourages Alabamians to vote in November 3 general election
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and registered voters must bring a valid photo ID. The ballot includes statewide offices, congressional races and every seat in the Alabama Legislature.

Governor Kay Ivey on Friday encouraged Alabamians to vote in the November 3 general election.
“Alabama’s future will be shaped by the people we send to Montgomery and Washington, and that decision belongs to you,” Ivey said. “Our state is experiencing historic momentum in areas like job creation, education, infrastructure, and public safety, to name just a few. I want that progress to continue for our children and grandchildren. So, y’all, get to the polls on November 3.”
Alabamians will vote in several major races, including for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state and other statewide offices, as well as one seat in the U.S. Senate. Voters will also elect members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Alabama Legislature, with every seat in the Alabama House and Senate on the ballot.
The ballot includes four statewide constitutional amendments. Depending on where they live, voters may also see judicial and local races, along with local amendments.
