The annual job fair, free and open to the public, will connect job seekers with over 70 employers across 10 industries.

Rep. Terri Sewell

With just one week left until her 14th annual job fair in Tuscaloosa, U.S. Representative Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, announced that this year’s signature event will feature at least 70 employers from 10 industries. It will take place on Thursday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McDonald Hughes Community Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

“Every Alabamian deserves a fair shot at getting ahead, and that begins with the dignity of a good-paying job,” Sewell said. “That’s why since coming to Congress, bringing jobs and opportunities directly to the people of our district has been my top priority, and it’s why our annual job fair is one of the most important events we host all year. Whether you’re looking to explore a new career path or just starting out, I hope you’ll join us for an exciting day of networking and new opportunities!”
