Alabama Farmers Federation endorses Sen. Josh Carnley for Senate District 31

Senate District 31 covers Coffee, Covington, Dale and Pike counties.

Sen. Josh Carnley

The Alabama Farmers Federation has announced its endorsement of Senator Josh Carnley for Senate District 31, which covers Coffee, Covington, Dale and Pike counties.

Carnley received his B.S. from Auburn University in agricultural science. He owns SanBuck Insurance Co. with offices in Andalusia, Enterprise and Troy. He is also a farmer producing cotton, peanuts, corn and beef cattle. Carnley is active in his community and the district, serving as a member of the Enterprise Rotary Club and the Choctawhatchee, Pea and Yellow Rivers Watershed Management Authority.

“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of the farmers of this district and the state,” Carnley said. “We share many conservative values important to the people of this district, and I’ll work hard to see to it that they’re well represented.”

Carnley and his wife, Valerie, have three children and attend Ino Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon.

The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state’s largest farm organization with more than 365,000 member families. It uses a grassroots approach to select candidates, relying on Alabama FarmPAC endorsements from county Federation boards of directors for local elections.
