Gov. Ivey announces 29 new board, commission appointments

Ivey appointed 29 individuals to six state boards, commissions, and committees, including the Board of Nursing and the Historical Commission.

Governor Kay Ivey announced last Friday appointments of 29 persons to six state boards, commissions, committees and other entities. 

Those appointed are listed below:

Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators

  • Dr. George Smith
  • Ms. Teresa Grimes

Soil and Water Conservation Committee

  • Mr. Charles Holmes
  • Mr. Johnny Lee

Historical Commission 

  • Dr. Ruth Truss

Alabama Tax Tribunal

  • Ms. Leslie Hopkins Pitman
  • Mr. Ralph Clements

Board of Nursing
