Wahl attends exclusive Trump forum at Mar-a-Lago

Invitation by Trump family places Wahl among CEOs, investors, and policymakers overseeing trillions in capital at Palm Beach forum.

President Donald J. Trump and John Wahl appear together at a Republican Party event.

Alabama lieutenant governor candidate John Wahl traveled to Palm Beach on Tuesday to attend the World Liberty Forum, an invitation-only event hosted at President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

According to the event’s website, the forum convenes 300 “carefully selected leaders from around the world” to discuss finance, technology, and global markets. Organizers describe it as a curated gathering of “CEOs, major investors, policymakers, and accomplished technologists who collectively oversee trillions in capital, global media platforms, major sporting and entertainment institutions, and critical financial infrastructure.”

Event hosts include Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Zach Witkoff, and Alex Witkoff. The forum is described as being “designed for depth and candor. No scripts, no talking points — just conversations that can only happen when the right people are in the room.”

Wahl said he was honored to attend and framed his participation as part of a broader economic development strategy.

“I am honored to have been invited by the Trump family to represent Alabama at this forum,” Wahl said. “A big part of good leadership is finding ways to improve our economy and help people achieve a better standard of living. As Lieutenant Governor, one of my top priorities will be expanding economic opportunity and opening new doors for Alabama’s hardworking families and businesses.”

Wahl emphasized that participation in events like the World Liberty Forum strengthens relationships that could benefit Alabama’s economy.

“As a proud Alabamian, I believe our state has an incredible story to tell,” Wahl said. “I am outspoken about my desire to help raise Alabama’s profile on the national level. The people of Alabama are the greatest in the nation, and I am honored to be their voice at events like this.”

Wahl’s invitation follows his endorsement by President Trump, signaling continued national support from conservative leaders as he campaigns for lieutenant governor.

“I intend to use the relationships I have built with leaders across America to help attract investment, create jobs, and raise Alabama’s profile on both the national and international stage,” Wahl said. “I will always seek opportunities that position our state for long-term prosperity and economic success as Lieutenant Governor.”

A list of scheduled speakers and VIP guests is available on the forum’s website.
