As spring approaches, shoppers across Alabama may notice lower prices on thousands of everyday items at Target stores.
The retailer said it is reducing prices on more than 3,000 items this season, including apparel, home goods, baby products and some food and beverage items. The reductions, which range from about 5% to 20%, began rolling out in stores and online in March.
The move comes as many families look to refresh wardrobes, update their homes and stock up on everyday necessities ahead of warmer weather.
“Busy families are thinking about value as they begin to update their homes and wardrobes for spring,” Cara Sylvester, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Target, said. “We’re delivering by lowering prices on 3,000 spring favorites across apparel, essentials and home.”
Target said the price reductions apply to a wide range of seasonal and everyday products commonly purchased by families.
Categories with lower prices include:
- Apparel: Women’s and children’s clothing designed for everyday wear and tied to spring trends.
- Home: Seasonal refresh items such as bedding sets, sheets and blankets aimed at making bedroom updates more affordable.
- Shoes: Footwear including flats, sandals and sneakers.
- Everyday essentials: Baby products, household necessities and pantry staples.
Target said the spring reductions build on broader efforts to lower prices on thousands of items during 2025 as the company focuses on maintaining competitive pricing on everyday goods.
Shoppers also can find additional savings through Target Circle, the retailer’s free rewards program available through the Target app, online and in stores.
Target operates multiple locations across Alabama, serving communities from the Gulf Coast to north Alabama, with in-store and online shopping options available statewide.
