Mobile County Republican Party Chairman Ken Kvalheim announced Tuesday that the party’s quarterly meeting, featuring 39 Republican candidates in local and statewide races, will be held Monday, April 6.
“We are proud to host 39 Republican candidates and invite the public and media to join us,” Kvalheim said. “This will be the largest GOP candidate fair our local party has ever hosted. We will welcome a strong bench of our candidates who are looking forward to spending time with voters.
“We welcome all interested voters and the media to join us. There isn’t a better way to decide who to vote for on Tuesday, May 19, than to meet and speak with the candidates in person. It can be grueling to run for office, and we are appreciative of all who have stepped into the arena of public service.”
The Mobile County GOP Candidate Fair will be held at The Grand Hall, 3556 Halls Mill Road in Mobile. A meet-and-greet is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by candidate recognition at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
