Armistead: Romney Claims Alabama

Staff Report

From the Office of Bill Armistead, Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bill Armistead, Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, issued the following statement regarding the Alabama results for the race for President of the United States:

“There was never any question in my mind in who would carry Alabama and I offer my hearty congratulations to Governor Mitt Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan for their decisive victory here in Alabama. Hopefully, this portends the direction for the rest of the country and Romney will be declared our next President of the United States. It’s time for our nation to return to the small-government principles upon which it was founded, and I’m confident that President Romney and Vice President Ryan are the leaders we need.”
