The Barbara Drummond for mayor campaign announced Tuesday the formation of its official Campaign Advisory Committee, a diverse group of civic leaders, policy experts, small business owners, and community advocates who will help guide the campaign’s vision and outreach.

“I’ve spent my life serving this city, and I’ve learned that the best leadership listens—and surrounds itself with people who care deeply about their community,” Drummond said. “This group represents some of Mobile’s very best—people with real knowledge, experience, and heart. I’m honored to have them with me in this fight.”

The committee will serve as a strategic and community engagement hub, advising the campaign on key issues, helping to amplify Drummond’s message, and connecting the campaign to voices across every corner of Mobile.

The advisory committee includes:

  • Gigi Armbrecht
  • Lawrence Battiste
  • Jermaine Burrell
  • Reggie Copeland, Jr.
  • Nina Dortch
  • Lenice Emanuel
  • Danielle Holland
  • Rachel McMullen
  • Wilbur Webb
  • Lawrence McCown Wettermark

“This committee reflects the kind of campaign we’re running—rooted in the community, experienced in service, and ready to deliver,” Drummond said.

The group will meet regularly with the candidate and campaign leadership to inform strategy, help mobilize support, and ensure Mobile’s next chapter is shaped by the people who know it best.
