Jasmyne Crimiel qualifies for Alabama House District 74 race

Jasmyne Crimiel officially qualified for the Alabama House District 74 race, saying her campaign is focused on delivering accountable leadership and results-driven solutions.

Jasmyne Crimiel

Jasmyne Crimiel officially qualified last Friday to run for Alabama House of Representatives, District 74, marking a significant milestone in her campaign to represent the residents of the district.

Crimiel, a self-described longtime advocate for education, healthcare access and community empowerment, entered the race “focused on delivering accountable leadership and results-driven solutions for working families across District 74,” her press release shared.

“Today is about stepping forward on behalf of the people of District 74,” said Crimiel. “Our communities deserve leadership that listens, shows up, and works every day to strengthen our schools, expand access to healthcare, and create real opportunities for families. I am ready to do that work.”

Crimiel said her campaign is centered on grassroots engagement, community service, and a commitment to transparency and accessibility. Since launching her campaign, she has prioritized meeting voters where they are—listening to concerns, building relationships and organizing volunteers across the district, Crimiel’s release stated.

With qualification complete, Crimiel said she will continue expanding her campaign operations, engaging voters throughout the district, and building a broad coalition of supporters ahead of the Democratic primary.
