With everything going on in Washington, D.C., it’s difficult to predict the result of the midterm 2018 elections.

All indications are that Democrats will have a good year, perhaps even taking over the House of Representatives or the Senate or both.

Let’s learn our lesson, though. Predictions during this Donald Trump era are not certain. Few people thought so-called Republican Trump would defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

Facts and scandals will never trouble Trump voters

There appears to be a bit of confusion among media folks across the country.

Following last week’s testimony from former FBI Director James Comey, people with cameras and notepads rushed out to interview Trump voters to see if the people who elected The Walking Congressional Hearing had buyer’s remorse.

And they were, expectedly, aghast to discover that greater than 90 percent of those voters held no remorse (Some of this is due to the fact that they don’t know what the word means, but not all of it).

Massive Prison Spending Bill “All Devil-No Details”

MONTGOMERY—The State is poised to give Gov. Robert Bentley an $800 million dollar credit card to build 4 super-max style prisons, with no written plan, no impact study, and no accountability. The only thing certain about the project is that State taxpayers will be on the hook for $1.5 billion. The bill, which has been hurried through the legislature, has raised numerous unanswered questions, not the least of which is how the bond would be paid back.

Brooks Says Federal Government Aggressively Undermines Our Rights to Freedom of Speech and Association

On Wednesday, Congressman Mo Brooks (R) from Huntsville spoke on the House of Representatives floor warning that the White House is acting in a way that risks undermining the trust that the American people have in our federal government.

Representative Brooks said, “America is in uncharted waters when our own federal government aggressively undermines our rights to freedom of speech and association . . . rights won with American blood on the battlefields of Lexington and Concord, Trenton and Princeton, Saratoga, Cowpens and Kings Mountain, and Yorktown.
