The V–“The Voice of Alabama Politics”
MONTGOMERY – A new political broadcast launches in Alabama. On Sunday, October 20, at 11:30, “The V, The Voice of Alabama Politics,” premieres on ABC 33/40 and follows on YouTube.
“The V” is an exciting new addition to the political dialogue in the state, mixing biting commentary, honest analysis and the most important names in Alabama politics. Led by veteran journalist and Editor-in-Chief of the Alabama Political Reporter, Bill Britt, “The V” will go where few political shows dare.
“Our goals are simple, to provide honest reporting that dares to challenge the status quo,” said Britt. “We want to inform, educate and alert the folks of Alabama about what is really going on in the state capitol.” Britt says the show will be not only be informative, but will also offer a candid look into the world of political insiders.
Britt is joined by Claire Austin, government affairs specialist and former associate of Sen. Jeff Session and Justice Bill Pryor.
Also Baron Coleman, an attorney and political advisor, who recently led the campaign to defeat higher taxes in Auburn, Alabama. Coleman brings his years of experience in the trenches of political campaigning to the show.
Rounding out the analysis is Charlanna Spencer, attorney with the prestigious law firm of Hill Hill Carter in Montgomery. Spencer has represented such high profile clients as Milton McGregor and is an authority in campaign finance law and gaming.
This diverse group of Montgomery insiders will bring to “The V” a fresh look into how the game of politics is really played in the state.
“We will sometimes make you laugh, we may even make you cry, but we will always make you think,” said Britt.
“The V” is produced by veteran producer and former Alabama Republican Party Press Secretary Jonathan Barbee. Barbee and his team from Media Works Communications are providing HD production and post services for “The V.”
