ALGOP uses impeachment inquiry as fundraiser

Late Thursday afternoon, the Alabama Republican Party sent out a fundraising tweet urging for donations to defend President Donald Trump against “Pelosi’s impeachment witch-hunt.”

On Tuesday, Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-California, announced a formal impeachment inquiry against Trump.

State GOP leaders have vehemently attacked the inquiry and now are using it as a tool to support the state party.

The impeachment investigation, according to Speaker Pelosi, is centered around a whistleblower complaint that alleges the president sought help from his Ukrainian counterpart, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, to dig up dirt on his potential presidential rival, Vice President Joe Biden.

Individual donors will be given two Trump bumper stickers for their contributions.
