The Alabama Trucking Association has officially endorsed Jasper businessman and entrepreneur Dustin Beaty for Alabama House of Representatives District 13 in the upcoming special election to replace another ATA-endorsed candidate, Rep. Matt Woods, R-Jasper, who won his recent election to Senate District 5.

“Dustin Beaty is a proven leader who understands what it takes to create jobs and keep Alabama headed in the right direction,” said ATA Chairman Joe Black. “Trucking is an essential industry throughout District 13, employing thousands of Alabamians. Mr. Beaty brings a wealth of experience to the table as a business owner, a person of faith, and a lifelong resident of Walker County. We are proud to support his campaign. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a business owner, and civic leader to his campaign, offering a practical understanding of the challenges faced by working families.”

Known for his results-driven approach, Beaty has played a key role in revitalizing Downtown Jasper and managing local businesses with more than 70 employees, the ATA shared. “His platform emphasizes conservative values, faith, and a dedication to servant leadership, reflecting his deep connection to the community he calls home,” their release said.

“I’m excited to have the endorsement of the Alabama Trucking Association and its members,” said Beaty. “Truckers play an essential role in our communities and literally keep Alabama’s economy moving. My campaign is focused on helping Walker County grow and I’m proud to have our trucking industry as a partner in that effort.”

With a strong foundation in business, healthcare and community service, ATA leaders said they believe Beaty offers a well-rounded perspective that sets him apart as a candidate. Beaty said his campaign promises to advocate for the needs of everyday Alabamians while prioritizing economic growth, job creation and family values.
