Alabama Retail PAC endorses Dustin Beaty in House District 13 special election

The Alabama Retail PAC highlighted Beaty’s experience as a business owner and entrepreneur.

House District 13 candidate Dustin Beaty

Alabama Retail PAC, the Alabama Retail Association’s state political action committee, said Tuesday that it has endorsed Dustin Beaty in the upcoming special election for District 13 in the Alabama House of Representatives.

“Dustin’s experience as a business owner, entrepreneur, and board member of the Alabama Retail Association uniquely equips him to advocate for Alabama businesses,” said Alabama Retail Chairman Michael Gee. “As a business owner himself, he employs over 60 people, supports the local economy, and has gained firsthand insight into the challenges we retailers face.”

“Dustin approaches challenges with the mindset of a businessman,” said Alabama Retail President Rick Brown. “That perspective will be an asset not only for Alabama retailers, but for District 13.”

“It is a tremendous honor to earn the endorsement of the Alabama Retail PAC,” Beaty said. “As a fellow retailer, I know what it’s like to meet payroll, balance a budget, and I’ve seen the impacts of burdensome regulation. I’m committed to championing commonsense reforms that empower Alabama businesses and benefit the citizens of Walker County.”

The Alabama Retail PAC said it supports candidates who recognize the vital role retail plays in Alabama’s economy and are committed to strengthening the state’s business climate. The Alabama Retail Association advocates for policies that help retailers of all sizes thrive, benefiting consumers, employees and communities alike.
