Americans for Legal Immigration endorses Mo Brooks

Tuesday, August 8, 2017, the conservative group Americans for Legal Immigration announced its endorsement of Congressman Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) for United States Senate.

Congressman Brooks is an outspoken proponent of building President Trump’s border wall and strictly enforcing America’s immigration laws.

The President of ALIPAC, William Gheen said in a statement, “It is vital to the effort to save America from this socialist backed illegal immigration overthrow of our elections and republic that we elect a very strong voice that supports our existing immigration laws instead of amnesty. Mo Brooks clearly has the strongest record against illegal immigration.”

The Hill says Sessions can have his pick of cabinet jobs

Tuesday, November 15, 2016, The Hill’s Jonathan Swan and Peter Schroeder are reporting that a source claims that US Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) will get whatever post he wants inside the new administration. They are reporting that Sen. Sessions has expressed interest in the work of three agencies: Defense, Justice and Homeland Security.

Sessions was the first Senator to endorse the New York City billionaire and reality TV star to be the next President of the United States. Sen. Sessions transitioned two of his senior staffers, Stephen Miller and Rick Dearborn, into positions inside Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

Politico Ranks Sessions and Former Aide Two Most Influential in American Politics

Only recent presidential candidates, and fellow US Senators Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) ranked as more influential than Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama). This according to a new list by Politico. While other Republican Senators may hold all of the fancy committee chairmanships, few have actually shaped the policy debates more than Sessions.

Politico writes, “Trump is running on ideas that Sessions has been pushing for years—now crafted by (30 year old Stephen) Miller into a message for the candidate.”
