Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey Congratulates Romney

Staff Report
Alabama Political Reporter

Montgomery, AL – Lt. Governor Kay Ivey, Chairman of Mitt Romney’s Campaign in Alabama released the following statement this evening:

“Governor Romney’s win in Maine and at CPAC today further establish him as the one candidate who can unite the Republican Party to victory in November. Since the primary season opened, Governor Romney has collected more votes and he leads in delegates, which is the most critical factor. While we have a long way to go until the convention in Tampa, Romney’s wins today underscores the breadth of his appeal to voters from all facets of the Republican Party. I’m confident his winning streak will continue throughout the month of February leading up to the Alabama Primary on March 13th. Mitt Romney is the conservative leader our country needs. His experience in the private sector makes him the ideal candidate to turn our country around.”
