Sewell to continue “Congress in Your Community” Tour with stops in Choctaw, Marengo

Each year, Rep. Sewell hosts a series of town halls in each of the 14 counties that make up her district.

Today, November 22, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell, AL-07, will continue her “Congress in Your Community” tour with stops in Choctaw and Marengo Counties. Each year, Rep. Sewell hosts a series of town halls in each of the 14 counties that make up her district to give constituents an opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns and hear the latest in Congress.

At 11 a.m., Rep. Sewell will host a town hall in Choctaw County at the Lisman Town Hall. Press are invited to join Sewell at 10:45 a.m. for a press availability.

At 2 p.m., Rep. Sewell will host a town hall in Marengo County at Rooster Hall in Demopolis. Press are invited to join Sewell at 1:30 p.m. for a press availability where she will announce major federal funding that she helped secure for the West Central Alabama Area Health Education Center (AHEC) to recruit and train health care workers and combat the opioid crisis.
