State Rep. Kenneth Paschal endorsed by Business Council of Alabama

The Business Council of Alabama endorsed Kenneth Paschal’s reelection campaign, citing his support for pro-jobs policies and workforce development.

Rep. Kenneth Paschal, R-Pelham, speaks to attendees at an event of the ALGOP Outreach Coalition.

State Representative Kenneth Paschal expressed his gratitude Monday to the Business Council of Alabama, BCA, for endorsing his reelection campaign to serve a second term in the Alabama State House of Representatives.

“I am honored that the Business Council of Alabama recognizes my voting record and the values I stand for as a pro-jobs, pro-business public servant,” Paschal said. “I am proud to represent the constituents and business community of House District 73, which includes portions of Pelham, Alabaster, Helena, and Montevallo. I pride myself on staying engaged and accessible to the local business community year-round, not just during election season.”

“Our state succeeds when policymakers and job creators pull in the same direction,” said Helena Duncan, BCA president and CEO. “The individuals we’re endorsing today have demonstrated a clear understanding of what it takes to keep Alabama competitive – supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, protecting free enterprise, and ensuring businesses of every size can grow. BCA is proud to stand with leaders who are committed to building a stronger Alabama.”

ProgressPAC Chairman Gary Smith said, “This endorsement reflects ProgressPAC’s commitment to electing candidates who are not only pro-business, but who also demonstrate the work ethic and problem-solving mindset needed to make Alabama a national leader for job growth.”

Paschal is a member of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Workgroup and said he is deeply connected to the needs of local businesses. “I understand that a strong Shelby County economy depends not just on recruiting new industry, but on building a skilled, job-ready workforce — which is why I strongly support the BCA’s efforts around workforce development, training, and labor force participation. The BCA’s endorsement affirms our shared commitment to fostering economic growth and opportunity for all Alabamians,” stated Paschal.

Paschal said he looks forward to continuing his work on behalf of Alabama’s businesses, workforce and families by promoting policies that help both businesses and communities thrive.

Kenneth Paschal served 21 years in the U.S. Army before retiring in 2006. After his service, he returned to his home state, settling in Shelby County, Alabama. He is a past post commander of the American Legion and a member of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee. Paschal also serves on the Shelby County Republican Executive Committee.
