In this week’s “This Matters,” Bill Britt examines America’s 250th anniversary and how the nation’s founding promise still tests our truth, liberty, responsibility and citizenship.

Because patriotism is more than fireworks and flags. It is telling the truth about our country without hating it, and loving our country without lying about it.
