US Sen. Steve Daines endorses Roy Moore

Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, U.S. Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., said that Roy Moore will help reform Washington.  Daines announced that he is endorsing Moore in Alabama’s special election for U.S. Senate.

“The people of Alabama will have soon have an opportunity elect a new U.S. Senator, and I believe Judge Roy Moore is the best candidate to follow in the steps of former Senator Jeff Sessions,” Daines said. “Judge Moore is a principled conservative, and he will help reform Washington and return power to the people of America. I look forward to working with Judge Moore on ideas to cut taxes, rein in the national debt, and boost job growth.”

Moore campaign calls on Washington Post to issue retraction

Friday, the Judge Roy Moore for U.S. Senate Campaign called on the Washington Post (WAPO) to issue a correction regarding its recent reporting on Moore, which Campaign Chairman Bill Armistead called inaccurate.

Chairman Armistead said in a statement,“The Washington Post recently published a number of hit pieces on Judge Moore and how he was compensated by the Foundation for Moral Law for work performed on their behalf. The stories have contained misrepresentations and inconsistencies designed, not to tell the truth, but to hurt Judge Moore politically.”

Roy Moore to headline Madison County Republican Party Freedom Gala

The Madison County Republican Executive Committee will present the 2nd biennial Freedom Gala: A Celebration of Freedom on Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Jackson Center in Research Park in Huntsville. Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore will be the Keynote Speaker.

Moore is a life-long Alabamian and outspoken constitutional conservative that has stood up for liberty and religious freedom his entire career. He is an alumnus of Etowah High School in Attalla, Alabama, and an alumnus of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Arts and Engineering. Moore also has a 1977 law degree from the University of Alabama.

Doug Jones campaigns in Birmingham, calls Moore “extreme”

On Wednesday, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Doug Jones said  that there could not be more “contrast” between himself and Republican candidate Roy Moore.

Doug Jones is a Birmingham attorney and former U.S. attorney for North Alabama during the administration of President Bill Clinton.

Jones spoke to reporters at Niki’s West, a restaurant in Birmingham, on Wednesday following Moore’s stunning defeat of appointed U.S. Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., in Tuesday’s GOP primary.

Roy Moore cruises to a win over Strange

The voters of the Alabama Republican Party went to the polls and selected Roy Moore to be their nominee in the race for U.S. Senate.

The Washington elites led by Karl Rove, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., the Senate Leadership Fund, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Rifle Association, and the National Republican Senate Committee, all backed Strange.  The expensive outside lobbyists declared a media war on Moore.  Republicans voters received upwards of 50 mailers to their mailboxes.  TV and radio spots touting Strange and attacking Moore bombarded viewers and listeners for weeks.

Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, the Roy Moore for Senate campaign held a final Get Out The Vote (GOTV) rally in Fairhope, Alabama, with a special guests.

“It is a great honor, I am just a country boy from North Alabama, to have men like Steve Bannon, Nigel Farage, Siran Stacy, to come long distances,” Moore said.

Breitbart News Executive Chairman Steve Bannon gave an impassioned plea for the voters of Alabama to vote for Moore.

Alabama politicos react to Moore-Strange debate

Thursday, Republican Senate candidates Roy Moore and Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., debated a number of issues in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate in Montgomery. Afterwards, supporters of both campaigns declared victory.

Former state Rep. Perry Hooper Jr., who is also chair of Trump’s Victory Committee in Alabama, endorsed Strange.

“The Debate tonight proved one important fact: Senator Luther Strange is s better fit to serve as Alabama’s Junior US Senator,” Hooper said. “Senator Strange was spot on discussing important issues. He was very knowledgeable, confident and looked Senatorial. Chief Justice Moore seemed confused at times and he had a hard time pronouncing words. The best line of the night was when Moore told the audience that God was in charge of his election, Strange replied by saying in all due respect, God is in charge of the election for both Moore and Luther, but one thing is for Sure President Trump is for Me. That was the best line of the night!”

Friday, former U.S. Senate candidate and President of the Christian Coalition of Alabama, Dr. Randy Brinson (R), endorsed Judge Roy Moore for the U.S. Senate runoff election on September 26.

Roy Moore takes commanding lead in Alabama Senate race

 Monday, August 21, 2017, the first poll conducted, since the Alabama Senate primary, was released and it shows Judge Roy Moore with a commanding lead over incumbent Senator Luther Strange (R) in the upcoming Senate Republican primary runoff. The JMC Analytics poll conducted between August 17 and 19 among likely Republican voters found that in the upcoming runoff Judge Moore leads with 51 percent support to just 32 percent for Strange with 17 percent of voters still undecided.
