Why AG Strange Has Recused Himself From Special Grand Jury in Lee County

MONTGOMERY—Alabama Attorney General publicly stated to Al.com reporter Kim Chandler that he had recused himself from the Special Grand Jury proceedings in Lee County.

Strange is reported as saying, “I am recused from that matter.”

The current Special Grand Jury is a continuance of the ongoing investigations into Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn).

In December of 2012 and in May 2013, alreporter.com published stories explaining why Attorney General Strange had recused himself from “…that matter.”
