Governing Elite Will Be Honored

MONTGOMERY—Yellowhammer Multimedia announced on Monday, that meteorologist James Spann will be the Master of Ceremonies at the Inaugural Yellowhammer Power & Influence reception being held at the prestigious Birmingham Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa. This gala event promises to host a cream of the State’s business and governing elite.

Yellowhammer has confirmed these guests:

Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey

Congressman Robert Aderholt

Congressman Gary Palmer

Attorney General Luther Strange

Sen. Greg Reed, Senate Majority Leader

Sen. Cam Ward, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman

Sen. Jabo Waggoner, Senate Rules Chairman

Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard

And many, more will be in attendance for the gala reception.

The website also states, “attendees includes a who’s who of Alabama CEOs and political power players, making Yellowhammer’s Power & Influence reception the can’t-miss networking and social event of the year.”

According to Yellowhammer News, “The Yellowhammer Power & Influence 50 is an annual list of the most powerful and influential players in Alabama politics and business, from elected officials and governmental affairs pros, to CEO’s and economic development heavyweights.”

Past honorees include Speaker Mike Hubbard, BCA head Billy Canary, Dax Swatek, Bob Riley, and others.

Spann said he is “thankful for the hard working men and women that will be honored during this event…They have gone above and beyond to make our State a better place to work and live. I am looking forward to it.”
