As Alabama families look for ways to stretch their summer budgets and prepare for the back-to-school season, Target announced it is bringing back Target Circle Deal Days from June 23-26, with savings of up to 45 percent off select apparel, home items and school supplies.
The event also gives Huntsville shoppers an opportunity to support nonprofit organizations serving communities across Alabama through the Target Circle Community Giving Program. Each time Target Circle members shop, they earn votes they can use to help direct Target’s corporate giving to participating nonprofit organizations.
This year’s featured organizations include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alabama, giving shoppers a way to support youth-focused programs while taking advantage of seasonal savings.
“Our participation in Target Circle reminded us that our community shows up for kids in ways both seen and unseen every single day,” Better Basics Director of Marketing and Communication Shaina Berry said. “The funds raised through Target Circle will help Better Basics reach more children across Alabama with the reading support, math intervention and books they need to thrive—and knowing local shoppers chose to make that happen means everything to us.”
In past Target Circle giving cycles, Alabama organizations such as Better Basics and Girls Incorporated of Huntsville each received more than $2,000 through community-directed votes.
