In addition to the appointments Governor Kay Ivey announced Wednesday for the Governor’s Commission on Screen-Based Instruction, she announced several appointments to state and local boards and commissions.
Ivey appointed Shebra Kidd to the Dallas County Board of Registrars; Chip Crockett to the Study Commission on Carbon Dioxide Storage Facility Fees; D’Andre Wright to the Coal Impacted Communities Advisory Board; Mayor Kip Williams to the Elk River Development Agency; Chief Robert Russell to the Indian Affairs Commission; Steve Newton to the Surface Mining Commission; Zach Brannon to the TVA Regional Resource Stewardship Council; and Linda Derry to the Cahawba Advisory Committee.
She also appointed Thomas Johnson and Dorothy Sanford to the Private Colleges and Universities Facilities Authority; John Peebles and Thomas A. Wheat to the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science Board; Thomas Dismukes and J.C. Love to the PACT Board; and Ali Araiinejad, Anastasia Morris and Anna Johnson to the Massage Therapy Board.
