Funeral service for Bridgette Gentry Marshall set for Friday

Funeral service for Bridgette Gentry Marshall, wife of Alabama’s Attorney General Steve Marshall, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29, at McRae Funeral Home Chapel in Boaz. Mrs. Marshall died Sunday, June 24.

She passed after a long battle with mental illness, according to her husband’s office.

Mrs. Marshall was born in Boaz, Alabama on June 6, 1973, to Billy Wayne and Linda Walls Gentry. She was a homemaker and active hospice volunteer.

She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Faith Marshall (Bailey Simmons) of Albertville; her parents, Wayne and Linda Walls Gentry of Asbury; and her brothers, Brian and April Gentry, and Brandon and Christie Gentry, all of Albertville; and her nieces and nephews, Katheryn Lipscomb, Brooke Gentry, Caleb Gentry and Anslei Gentry, according to published obituaries

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Shepherd’s Cove Hospice located at 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
