U.S. Representative Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, announced Tuesday that her 15th annual job fair will feature at least 75 employers representing 12 industries.
The job fair will take place Thursday, August 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wallace Community College Selma.

Now in its 15th year, Sewell’s annual job fair has become one of the largest workforce development events in Alabama’s 7th Congressional District, connecting thousands of job seekers with employers and career resources.
Sewell said she alternates between hosting the event in urban and rural parts of the district “to ensure the unique needs of each community are met.”
The job fair is free and open to the public. Sewell’s office strongly encourages preregistration, but it is not required. Registration will also be available at the event.
