The Alabama Republican Party, or ALGOP, announced Friday that it has completed the third and final phase of the Republican National Committee’s Growing Republican Organizations to Win Program, earning the program’s highest designation, Chairman’s Circle.
The GROW Program is a three-phase initiative designed to help state parties strengthen their organizations and prepare for future election cycles. In each phase—On the Rise, Leaders’ Circle and Chairman’s Circle—state parties complete benchmarks focused on fundraising, communications, data, grassroots engagement and organizational operations.
By completing the Chairman’s Circle phase, ALGOP has finished all three levels of the program.
“This is a significant accomplishment for our team,” ALGOP Chairman Scott Stadthagen said. “The GROW Program challenged us to evaluate every part of our organization and find ways to improve. Completing all three phases reflects the hard work our staff has put in over the past year and our commitment to building a stronger party. I’m proud of what our team has accomplished, and I appreciate the RNC’s continued investment in helping state parties grow and succeed.”
Since Stadthagen took office in March, ALGOP said it has focused on strengthening its internal operations while expanding support for Republican candidates, county parties and grassroots volunteers.
“Completing all three phases of the GROW Program marks another important milestone in those efforts and reflects the party’s continued commitment to serving Republicans across Alabama,” the organization said in a press release.
