Rep. Sewell announces mobile office hours for May

Residents across Alabama’s 7th District could meet with congressional staff in May for help with Social Security, veterans’ benefits, passports and other federal services.

Rep. Terri Sewell

Representative Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, announced Tuesday that her office will host a series of Mobile Office Hours throughout Alabama’s 7th Congressional District during May 2026. The events are designed to bring constituent services directly to local communities and give residents a chance to meet with congressional staff and get help with federal programs and services.

“Serving the people of Alabama’s 7th District means meeting folks where they are,” Sewell said. “Our Mobile Office Hours ensure that every constituent — no matter where they live — has access to the help they need navigating federal programs and services.”

At each session, Sewell’s staff will help constituents with a range of issues, including Social Security, veterans’ benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, passport services and more. Sewell will not attend.
